Mr. Wishneff joined Brian Wishneff & Associates in 2007. In his role with BW&A, Erik oversees all BW&A business activities.   This includes oversight of existing projects and relationships and implementing the strategic direction of the firm.  He also works with a variety of project sponsors to help facilitate tax credit investments.  This work includes deal structuring, financial analysis and the negotiation of investment terms.  He also oversees BW&A syndication services facilitating investments for investors throughout the U.S.  In addition, Erik oversees several of BW&A’s real estate development projects.  Prior to working at BW&A, Mr. Wishneff worked for a national homebuilder serving as Division Counsel and Director of Land Acquisitions where his duties included identifying, negotiating and securing new land for residential development as well as assisting with the entitlement process for these developments. Erik began his legal career in private practice where his clients included various developers, builders and lenders. Mr. Wishneff received a B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech and his J. D. from George Mason University School of Law. Erik is a member of the Virginia Bar.  He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Virginia Downtown Development Association.  He is married and resides in Arlington, Virginia with his wife and three daughters.
