Natalie has been working in community development finance for her entire career, beginning in 2014 on the real estate development team at Self-Help. Natalie has worked in development, lending, and philanthropic investment management in addition to tax credit financing, with a particular focus on affordable housing and community revitalization efforts. She graduated from Calvin College in 2014 with a bachelor’s in environmental studies and geography and a minor in urban studies, and from Virginia Tech in 2017 with a master’s in urban and regional planning, and certificates in nonprofit management and economic development. She lives in Fredericksburg, VA with her husband, Tommy, two cats (Kiki and Marla), and one husky mix (Gunner Cannoli).
