Facade / Easment
Last Updated: Oct 3rd, 2007 - 08:03:12

Facade/Easement
If you are considering or are in the process of a renovation of a building where the building facade will remain intact after completion, you may want to consider granting a facade easement as part of your project.  These easements may be used in conjunction with historic tax credits to help fund the rehabilitation of a building that has been deemed historic.  If certain criteria are met, the owner of a buildng can receive a Federal income tax deduction equivalent to the value of the easement granted.  For more information on facade easements and their availability for your project, please contact us.
